The Unself: Beyond Silence — A Journey Through Sound and Self

In a world shaken by conflict and uncertainty, The Unself emerges as an artist searching for something deeper — a path inward, carved through sound, emotion, and introspection. His journey began in Iran, a land where ancient history meets modern turmoil, shaping a perspective both sensitive and fierce. Through electronic music, The Unself discovered a language beyond borders and words — a way to understand himself while speaking to the collective pulse of humanity.
This is the world of The Unself: where inspiration is born, where creativity unfolds, and where art becomes not just expression, but a form of survival.

Where are you from?
I was born in Iran — a land at the crossroads of the Middle East, with over seven thousand years of history, yet today surrounded by turmoil and unrest.

Who are your biggest artistic influences?
My first spark for electronic music came from listening to Deadmau5. Over time, however, I’ve learned to follow the currents of my own emotions while creating — much like a novelist who starts with a single line and lets the story unfold naturally, shaped by the moment’s feeling.

Where do you find inspiration?
My inspiration comes from emotions, personal experiences, and the contrasts of the world around me — both its beauty and its struggles. I allow feelings and moments to guide my creative direction.

When is your favorite time of day to create your music?
I don’t keep a fixed schedule for making music; it depends entirely on my mental and emotional state. Yet there is a special magic in creating at night — as if rhythm and sound only reveal their truest essence in the quiet darkness.

How do you define success as a music artist?
For me, success is both simple and profoundly complex. As Rumi says:

“Travel within yourself, my son,
And you will see a hundred worlds without fear.

He who loses himself shall find God,
He who sees only himself shall find nothing but sorrow.”

True success is this inner journey — the moment when you dissolve into your art and encounter your truest self, somewhere beyond sound and silence.

Where will we see you in 5 years?
I’m proud that I recently reached the top of the “Top Artists Growth” chart, but this is just the beginning. I aim higher — envisioning myself one day on the main stage of Tomorrowland.

I am certain that in five years I will have grown into a greater maturity and will present my art with far deeper refinement. For me, living in a world without art is utterly void of meaning, and it saddens me to see that today the gentleness of art has been displaced by harshness, brutality, and the tools of war used to kill innocent people. Yet I hold the firm hope that art will ultimately prevail over this violence and war.

And with certainty, I can say — one day, my own genius will surpass Ben Böhmer and Kristin Löfler.

The path of The Unself is only beginning to reveal its true scale. From reaching the top of the “Top Artists Growth” chart to dreaming of stepping onto Tomorrowland’s main stage, he carries a firm belief: that art will outshine violence, and that beauty and empathy will outlive the darkest storms of our time.
Guided by emotion, reflection, and unwavering dedication, The Unself moves toward a future where his sound stands alongside — and perhaps rises beyond — the greatest names in electronic music.

This is more than ambition.
This is The Unself’s promise:
to keep creating, to keep feeling, and to keep journeying beyond silence.
