Finding Strength in Sound: An Artist’s Journey Through Emotion and Growth

Hailing from the UK and shaped by experiences across the Atlantic in America, this artist has built a sound that’s as emotionally raw as it is creatively bold. Drawing inspiration from artists like NF, Witt Lowry, Illenium, and Seven Lions, their music captures honesty, vulnerability, and growth — transforming real-life experiences into deeply relatable art. Whether it’s late at night when the world quiets down or in moments of deep reflection, their creative process is rooted in emotion and authenticity.

In this interview, we dive into the heart of their artistry — exploring where their inspiration comes from, how they define success, and what drives them to keep creating music that speaks to the soul.

Where are you from?

I’m from the UK, but I’ve also lived in America. Both places shaped me in different ways, the UK gave me my grounded side, and America helped me open up creatively and push my boundaries as an artist.

Who are your biggest artistic influences?

My biggest influences are NF, Lucidious, Sikworld, Ivan B, Witt Lowry, Illenium, and Seven Lions. They all express emotion in their own way, raw, vulnerable, and powerful. That’s what I connect to and what I try to bring into my own music.

Tell me about how your creation part begins, and how is your workflow.

My process usually starts with emotion. It could be something I’ve been overthinking or a moment that’s stuck with me. Sometimes I start with a melody that captures how I feel, other times I write a few lines that set the tone. From there, I just build around that feeling, the melodies, the beat, the lyrics, until it all connects naturally.

Where do you find inspiration?

My inspiration comes from everything that’s happened in my life. Heartbreaks, moving on, let downs, finding peace, and growing from it all. Every experience teaches me something, and music is how I turn those lessons into lyrics.

When is your favourite time of day to create your music?

At night. My brain just works differently; I process things better when the world is quiet. It’s when my thoughts are the loudest, and that’s when the most honest music happens.

Describe how art is essential to society nowadays.

Art gives people something real to hold on to. It’s how we connect, express, and heal. Especially today, when so many people feel misunderstood or alone, art reminds us that we’re not, that someone out there feels the same.

What motivates you to create?

I know there are people out there who feel what I feel, maybe not in the exact same way, but they’ve been through it. I know what it’s like to feel alone and find comfort in a song that says what you couldn’t say yourself. That’s what motivates me, to create something that helps someone else get back up, just like music did for me.

How do you define success as a music artist?

For me, success isn’t about fame or numbers, it’s about connection. If my music can reach someone and help them through something, even for a moment, then that’s real success.

Does art help you in other areas of your life?

Absolutely. Music helps me understand myself better. It’s how I process emotions, reflect, and grow. It gives me perspective and peace when life gets heavy.

How do you develop your art skills?

By constantly creating, experimenting, and being open to growth. I try not to stay in one comfort zone. Every song is a chance to learn something new, about myself, about sound, and about emotion.

What is your next move?

Right now, I’m working on new music that dives even deeper into personal emotions, heartbreak, healing, and finding strength in silence. I want every release to feel more real, more intentional, and more connected than the last.

Where will we see you in 5 years?

Honestly, I’m not sure where I’ll be, but I hope I’m still doing what I love: sharing my music, connecting with people, and inspiring others to follow their dreams no matter the setbacks or letdowns

As our conversation comes to a close, one thing is clear — this artist creates from a place of honesty, passion, and purpose. Their journey is a reminder that art isn’t just about sound, but about connection and healing. With new music on the horizon, exploring themes of heartbreak, growth, and resilience, there’s much more to look forward to.

Stay tuned and follow the artist on social media to keep up with their latest releases, behind-the-scenes moments, and personal insights into their creative world. This is just the beginning of a story that’s only getting deeper.
