I live in the beautiful Black Forest near Stuttgart in southern Germany.

Who has influenced you most artistically?
Elvis Presley and his songwriters.

Tell me how you start the creative process and what your workflow looks like.
I write songs about topics that are important to me at the moment and start with the lyrics, then I arrange the music myself in my small studio.

Where do you find inspiration?
In nature.

At what time of day do you prefer to compose your music?
Mostly at night.

Describe why art is so important to society today.
Music can heal wounds and should bring different opinions together, thus leading to cohesion.

What motivates you to compose?
I am happy when I can pass something on to people and encourage them with my songs to keep going toward their goal, even in difficult situations!

How do you define success as a musician?
I don't measure success by money, but by a good message and masterful quality. Unfortunately, mainstream music can't do that!

Does art also help you in other areas of your life?
Art gives me the opportunity to share my thoughts and melodies with other people and thus strike up conversations with strangers.

How are you developing your artistic skills?
I'm working on my songwriting—and with every new song, I think it's the best one yet 😉

What's your next step?
I'm currently releasing a new song every month on all the major digital platforms, and I plan to gradually release a nice music video for most of the songs on my YouTube channel.
