Where are you from?
We are from the southern forests of Sweden.
Who are your biggest artistic influences?
We are inspired by artists from many different genres, but not directly by any specific artist. What always inspires us is a unique expression, sound, and distinctiveness that makes an artist unmistakable.
Tell me about how your creation part begins, and how is your workflow.
The process can vary, but usually a song idea emerges and is then arranged and developed by the whole band into a finished piece. Other songs become co-writing projects that the band creates together from the ground up.
Where do you find inspiration?
Inspiration comes from life, its joys and challenges, from nature, and from life stories that are worth telling.
When is your favorite time of day to create your music?
Music can be created at any time of the day when creativity strikes, provided that time allows.
Describe how art is essential to society nowadays
People need art for their well-being. Art stimulates our senses and makes us creative, helps us process life’s challenges, find new perspectives, and see the beauty in the small and simple things. Art has the ability to make us pause, which is incredibly important in today’s society where stimuli are always within reach.
What motivates you to create?
Partly it’s about being part of a creative process together with others, but just as much about sharing what we’ve created with people and seeing how it can actually have a positive impact on them. To be able reach out to many people and spreading your art is of course satisfying.
How do you define success as a music artist?
For us, succeeding as artists is very much about touching people on a deeper level and getting them to receive the message or feeling we want to convey. It’s also about finding our own unique expression and being able to communicate it.
Does art help you in other areas of your life?
Art is essential for letting life flow, for feeling meaning, and for staying connected to our higher selves, to nature, and to what lies beyond what the eye can see and the senses can perceive. Art is life, and life is art.
How do you develop your art skills?
By practicing a lot on our instruments and songwriting, but also by listening to others and always staying open to new ideas and input. Working together is also key because different perspectives often help in finding the golden thread.
What is your next move?
Early next year, we will release our debut album, which we have been working on for almost two years. After that, we will focus on the live scene and present our music to as large an audience as possible. Alongside this we will start writing new music.
Where will we see you in 5 years?
In five years, we hope to be more firmly established in the music world. We dream of a record deal and of performing on big stages. We also hope that by then we will have released at least one more album.
