Where are you from?
I’m from West London and although I was born in Ealing and raised in Southall, I moved to Iver a few years ago. I’m also a secondary school English Teacher and currently working at the school that I myself went to as a child.
Who are your biggest artistic influences?
Everyday life experiences, my family and friends and new spoken word music or something that rather stands up against the conventional norm.
Tell me about how your creation part begins, and how is your workflow.
I have a music studio at home. Quite often I will sit in the studio and brainstorm new ideas. Other times, I will write music on the go whether I’m on holiday or in a park or at work etc.

Where do you find inspiration?
Similar to the question above, I find it through my family and friends and through new life experiences and emotions whether it be uplifting or depressing.
When is your favorite time of day to create your music?
I don’t have a fixed time of the day but usually the process of writing and recording happens late at night so I don’t disturb the neighbours.
Describe how art is essential to society nowadays
Art is essentially the freedom of expression and in a society which dictates what you can and can’t say, it is very important that we can express ourselves in our unique ways. This can be through paintings, music, storytelling etc. We are not universal robots, we are unique and we should celebrate our uniqueness.
What motivates you to create?
Life experiences, my family and friends. New events in my life.
How do you define success as a music artist?
Success to me is the ability to allow your music to outlive my legacy. When I die my music will keep my essence alive and allow people to remember me and what I stood for.
Does art help you in other areas of your life?
Yes, in my daily occupation. At university I also did English and Creative writing - I wrote books, plays, poems etc

Open Mic nights, storytelling, workshops, drama practice, music videos,
What is your next move?
To release more music videos and attend more open mic nights before I hang up my boots. To inspire, motivate and celebrate.
Where will we see you in 5 years?
I will be a senior assistant headteacher.
